Obsidian is rapidly solidified lava said to ground, release anger and grief. The Gua Sha stone is used to massage the face, so that the blood circulation increases significantly and the connective tissue loosens up and lets go of tense muscles. The movements help the waste products out of the lymph nodes and into the general circulation, where they are excreted.
